I have already registered a domain name. How do I use it with my hosting account?

If you have already registered a domain name, you can get it to point to your hosting account with us.  It is not necessary to transfer your domain name to us in order to use it with your hosting account - in fact, it is easier and cheaper to keep it registered with your current registrar.

In order to point the domain at your hosting account, you need to update your domain's "nameservers".  Normally, domain name registrars provide a control panel which you can log into to change the nameserver settings (also referred to as 'DNS settings').  The nameserver settings that you need to use will be provided to you in your welcome e-mail when you sign up for a hosting account.
