Yes, we run a backup of all of our hosting accounts every day. The backup compresses each account into a single file (one file per hosting account) and copies it to a separate machine on a different network. In addition, a weekly backup is carried out - so if you need to restore to an earlier version than the previous day, this might be possible. However, please DO NOT rely on this service alone, as we do not guarantee to be able to recover any data that may be lost (although we will of course do our best).

If you are hosting a Joomla website, it is unlikely that the actual files will change much - so you can just keep a copy on your local PC. However, if you are constantly updating your site, you will probably want to backup your Joomla database on a regular basis. We can provide you with a script which runs at regular intervals to backup your database and e-mail it to you.
